Arctic 2035 Journal
Arctic 2035: Challenges and Solutions is a quarterly published by PORA. It provides a unique platform for discussion and feedback on key issues and challenges of development in the Arctic, with a special emphasis placed on sustainable development and the implementation of the Arctic 2035 Strategy.
Arctic 2035 TV
Arctic 2035 is an online TV station delivering content in a viewer-friendly format. It gives tribune to experts, analysts and those who live in the Arctic for sharing news about the High North. Its content is available on the top online platforms.
Arctic Foods are Good Foods
Arctic Foods are Good Foods is a project aiming to raise awareness of health benefits associated with the traditional cuisine of the indigenous peoples of the High North, Arctic wild-growing herbs, and meat and fish products originating from the Arctic.
Barents Region Environmental Issues
The map of environmental issues affecting the Barents region shows how mining and industrial facilities operating in the Arctic areas of Russia, Finland, Sweden and Norway impact the environment, and what is being done to address the situation. More than 300 such facilities are currently listed at barentsmap.com.
Child Sleep
A study of the sleep-wakefulness cycle of children living in the Arctic was co-funded by PORA. Experts examined more than 1,000 children aged 7 to 12 living in an area stretching from the Murmansk Oblast to the Taimyr Peninsula.
Discussion Club
The PORA Discussion Club is a round table bringing together experts, politicians, activists, researchers, members of indigenous communities and businesspeople on the subject of sustainable development in the Arctic.
Eco-Yard
The Eco-Yard project was designed specifically for the Arctic regions. As part of the project, a system has been introduced which helps car owners prevent starting issues in cold weather. The system comprises a Russian-made prestart liquid heating unit and an engine heating station.
Enets Alphabet
The Enets are the last nonliterate indigenous people of the Russian Arctic. According to the 2010 census, there were less than 300 Enets living in two Taimyr villages. Less than 30 persons can actually speak the Enets language.
Ethnological Study
In May 2020, a spill occurred at Thermal Power Plant No. 3 located in Taimyr resulting in a discharge of diesel oil into the Norilka-Piasino basin. Upon request of indigenous communities of the area, PORA has launched an ethnological study involving the top experts, research centers and think tanks of Russia.
Expert Council
The PORA Expert Council brings together guest experts, participants of the PORA Discussion Club sessions, and grant recipients.

The Expert Council provides an environment for top-qualified experts to discuss the matters pertaining to the development of the Arctic.

Garden of Memory
Garden of Memory is an international campaign aimed to honor those who fell while serving this country during WWII. PORA, Clean Arctic and Volunteers of Victory joined their efforts to restore war memorials and mass graves alongside Federal Route E105 (P21), remove illegal graffiti from the rocks and plant trees.
GoArctic.ru

GoArctic.ru is a portal designed for travelers and those who are in love with scenic Arctic landscapes. The website serves as a virtual guide into the Arctic that offers interesting facts and figures regarding the High North and its indigenous peoples and provides access to photos, films and articles related to the Arctic for everyone to enjoy.

Good Job Center
The Good Job Center was launched in cooperation with the Russian State Social University. The project's Telegram channel posts recent news of the Arctic job market, along with up-to-date job offers in the High North, and keeps track of the corporate and commercial legislation relevant to doing business in the Arctic.
Grant Program
The PORA Expert Center provides grants for projects aiming to contribute to the sustainable development of the Russian Arctic. Our grantees implement projects relating to the environment, arts and crafts, IT, health care, education, tourism and social entrepreneurship.
Guardians of the Arctic
Guardians of the Arctic is a project focused on promoting the culture and arts of the indigenous peoples of the High North. It is an online hub accumulating information about the indigenous peoples of the Russian Arctic and hosting portfolios of indigenous artists and craftsmen.
Let Us Safeguard the Polar Bear
The polar bear is the biggest land predator on Earth. It plays a crucial role in maintaining the natural balance in the Arctic. The polar bear is listed on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species and the Russian Red Data Book as an endangered species.
Polar Bear Environmental Learning Center
Polar Bear Environmental Learning Center (City of Norilsk) was inaugurated as part of the Let Us Safeguard the Polar Bear project implemented at the Taymyr Peninsula, Krasnoyarsk Region.
Polar Index

Polar Index is a sustainable development rating that ranks Arctic administrative entities, companies and quality of life in different provinces of the Barents region. The ranking methodology combines the assessment of economic, environmental and societal components of sustainability.

Putorana Char
In 2018, researchers of the Siberian Federal University discovered a new char species. This Putorana char population is a rather small one and inhabits just one single place on Earth -- Lake Sobachie located within the Taimyr Reserve, where fishing and hunting are forbidden. The Putorana char has been found to have a record-setting content of polyunsaturated fatty acid. Just 30 grammes of this fish are enough to satisfy the daily need in Omega-3 of an adult.
R for Recycling
In 2019, a test reverse vending machine accepting plastic bottles was designed. Once deposited, the machine compresses the bottle, which increases the storage capacity of the machine by 20 times as compared to other ones.  The machine allows people to earn cash back for deposited bottles.
Stay at Home with PORA
Stay at Home with PORA is a series of live broadcasts aired by Arctic vloggers as part of a collaboration with PORA during the 2020 lockdown.

Content creators from the High North offered a peek into the lifestyle of those living in high latitudes. For instance, they hosted tutorials on how to cook traditional food of the Arctic indigenous peoples and play their folk games. Within the first month of the lockdown, more than 5.5 million people saw our broadcasts.
Time to Visit the Arctic
PORA vloggers cover all sorts of topics related to the Russian Arctic such as its cities’ landmarks, culture and traditions of the indigenous peoples, local holiday practices, history etc. More than 480 livestreams from 15 Arctic cities were broadcasted by them on the OK.ru platform.
